My brother Roger White told me about the passing of Bifford. I met him 30+ years ago at my cousin Nancy and REG Arthur Best's house in Trenton. Biff drove his old black motorcycle to their place for Nancy's birthday. He looked old even then even though he was only 35 or so. Long hair, beard, gruff voice, kind eyes. I think they were blue..... He and Roger drank beer out of a hubcap! Well I used to run into him over the years in Perth, he always asked after the family. A few falls I hired him on to stack my cordwood, he did it for a 2 4 of beer, a big feed of my spaghetti and $20. He worked his butt off for a full day, and he was happier than a clam with me sending him home with the rest of the beer and leftovers for another day. His real name was Thomas but we all called him Biff or Bifford! Rest in piece Biff.
