Obituary for Vaughn Bresee
Vaughn Leslie Bresee, 68, of Richmond, Ontario passed away suddenly in his sleep on the early morning of November 24, 2022. Beloved husband of Nijola Makarevicius. Cherished younger brother of Byron (Suzanne) and Dwayne (Julie). Uncle of Natalie Bresee (RJ Edjoc) and Tanya Moore (Keith). A nephew of Claire Bresee. Vaughn was predeceased by his father Cardwell Ward Bresee and his mother Anna Hamilton Bresee (Atcheson).
Vaughn worked as a skilled automotive and truck mechanic for close to thirty years and retired to grow a large bountiful garden each year in his grandfather and grandmother’s Atcheson farm on Wesport Road near Westport Ontario. He also enjoyed camping trips with Nijola in their travel trailer.
There will be a visitation at 11:00 am Monday November 28, 2022 for family members in the Lyons Funeral Home Westport. Interment will follow at 12:00 noon in the Westport United Church Cemetery. He will be buried beside his father and mother.
