Douglas Abrams of Sydenham died peacefully with his wife at his side at Kingston General Hospital September 27 at the age of 71.Dear husband of Valerie Abrams. Son of Rhea and the Late Cecil Abrams. Loving Father of Jennifer Hart (Michael) and Allison Villeneuve (Douglas). Brother of the Late Beverley Wowk. Will be missed by grandchildren Abagail, Benjamin, Jacob, and Kaylee. Brother to Bob Abrams (Cindy) and Uncle to Lindsay Hewlett (Brent) and Curtis Abrams (Lori).
Doug worked for Corrections Canada for 41 years retiring in 2012. He spent many years at his beloved cottage on Desert Lake. Family will be having a private celebration of life at a later date. Donations to Lionhearts Inc. - Kingston would be appreciated by the family.
