McParland: Eleanor Agnes (nee Hagan)
Peacefully at her home on Little Crosby Lake on Saturday April 30, 2022 in her 85th year surrounded by her family. She will be dearly missed by her daughters Mary Anne, Patricia, Rose (Colin Barry) and Janet. Close Sister of Veronica (late Dan) O’Neill, Jean Hagan, Rita (Vince) Humphries and Francis (Marilyn) Hagan. Predeceased by her husband Everett, brother Harold and sister Theresa (Turner) and by her parents Joseph and Mary (Mackler) Hagan. Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews, relatives and friends in Canada and The United States. The family would like to send a special thank you to Dr. Liu and the nursing staff (Christina and Chris) of Chemo/Medical Day Unit, Perth Hospital.
The family will receive relatives and friends at Lyons Funeral Home, Westport, Wednesday May 4 from 4-7PM. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Edward Church, Westport Thursday May 5 at 11AM. Interment at St. Edward Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy memorial donations can be made to Perth and Smiths Falls District Hospital Foundation (Chemotherapy Department) would be appreciated by the family. The wearing of masks at the Funeral Home is strongly encouraged.
