After a lengthy illness, in her home on May 6, 2021. Ann Savage (née Pownall) at the age of 68. Beloved partner of John Norwood of 30 years. She will be dearly missed by her children Doug (Janet), Tom (Kristen), Trina, John's son Jonathan, and grandchildren Andrew, Zach, Benji, and Trent. Predeceased by parents Vernon and Jean Pownall. Survived by brothers Charles Pownall and Morley Dore. Well-known as the church organist and music director for St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church in Perth, ON (for almost 40 years), Ann also taught piano to hundreds of local children over the years. She was always kind, always laughing, always ready for adventure. The family encourages donations to the Westport Arts Council (of which Ann was a proud supporter), and the Canadian Cancer Society. Due to COVID restrictions, a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
