The Polsin Family

My parents & us 7 kids started going to Michael's Cottages almost 40 years ago. Glenn was often the first face we'd see when we got there and the last wave goodbye as we packed up the caravan & drove out the dirt road. Last summer, we took an extra long look in the rear view mirror, possibly knowing things might never be the same. Glenn always had a smile and a beer and would do anything in the world to make our time on Devil Lake special. His face lit up when he talked about all the things he was going to do and we couldn't wait to see what would be in store for us the next year as we drove down the dirt road, through the woods to our oasis in the North. Our children and now their children have precious memories of so many summers spent at Michael's Cottages and Glenn was an integral part of those memories....He will be missed.
..."If someone should ask for me, tell 'em fishin' is where I'll be. I've finished all my lifes' chores and now I fish on Heaven's shores."...

Glenn will be missed greatly. Devil Lake will forever have his presence, it would not be the same without him.
To all his family, please accept my sincere condolences. May your hearts be warmed with the many memories you hold dear.

Our sincere condolences to all of the members of Glenn’s family. As guests of Michael’s Cottages at Devil lake for 32 years (many for 5 week stays), we have had the privilege of knowing Glenn’s grandmother, parents, and numerous other family members over the years. Glenn was a good host and great friend. We can’t imagine being there and not seeing Glenn. He will be greatly missed and we shall never forget him. Our thoughts and prayers go out to all members of his family and to all those who had the privilege and pleasure of his friendship. Rest in peace dear friend.
