With heavy hearts, we are saddened to announce the passing of Joseph Scanlan McNally, who died peacefully on Friday December 20, 2019 surrounded by his family at the Perth Community Hospital in his 87th year. Beloved husband and soulmate of Jean (Renaud) for 61 years. Predeceased by his parents W.H. and Julia McNally and brother Gerard (Pat) of Renfrew. Survived by his loving children Jeannette (Gerald) Kenny of Westport, Sean of Dunrobin, Kim (Jim) of Kingston and Jennifer of Banff. Adored Poppa of Megan (John) Hayes of Toronto, Nicholas (Heather) Kenny of Ottawa, Thomas (Magdalena) McNally of Ottawa and Grace Pereira of Kingston. Dearly missed by caring brothers in law and many nieces, nephews and cousins. The family will receive friends and family at Lyons Funeral Home, Westport on Friday December 27, 2019 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Edwards Church in Westport on Saturday December 28th at 11:00 AM. Donations to the Westport Lions Mobility Bus or a charity of your choice.
