We have lost our precious mother and grandmother after a lengthy illness of dementia. Mom was a selfless, generous and spirited soul, a fearless woman who gave more to the world than she took. Predeceased by her beloved husband Jim in 2015, her parents, John and Florence Donnelly and siblings Herman, Bernice, Bunny and Marcella. Her heart lives on in her children, Polly (Pat) Walsh, Jane (Bob) Munroe, Danny (Bev) Lewis and Kelly Lewis. Dear Nanny to Richard, Chris, Greg, David, Catherine and Lindley, and great-grandma to Chase. Survived by sister-in-laws Pat Donnelly and Betty Lewis and brother- in- law Bruce Lewis. While our hearts hurt, we are left with the enduring memories of a beautiful woman who made the world a better place with her laughter and extraordinary sense of humour. We want to acknowledge the incredible care and support of Providence Manor Montreal 4 Staff and all who shared mom’s journey during these past 5 years. Friends will be received at Lyons Funeral Home Westport on Sunday August 25 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday August 26 11:00 AM at St. Edward Church. Interment: St. Edward Cemetery. Donations may be made to the Recreational Team at Providence Manor.
