Beloved husband of Doreen (Murphy) for 61 years.
Son of the late Matthew and Sarah. Loving father of Deborah (Tony) DiSalle, Toronto; Peter, Montana; Michael, Godfrey; John (Anna), Texas. Dear Grandpa of Angela (Ryan), Marianne (Zack), Nicholas, Stella. Dear Great Grandfather of Liam, Emma, Ella, William. Brother of Andrew (deceased), Elizabeth (deceased), Mary, Loretta (deceased), Jim (Pat), Joseph (Joan), Bernadette (deceased), David (Carol Anne). Survived by many nieces and nephews.
Retired from Metro Toronto Department of Ambulance Services from which he received many safe driving awards. Active member of the Westport Lions Club, past president and recipient of the President’s award for outstanding contributions to Lionism over the years. He had a passion for woodworking and enjoyed the outdoors on his acreage.
Friends will be received Wednesday November 21, 2018, 9:30-11:00 AM at Sacred Heart Church, Bedford where Funeral Mass will be conducted at 11:00 AM. Burial at Sacred Heart Cemetery following Mass. Reception to follow at Church Hall.
